Ended up in Brooklyn where she ran wild

This kid from the hard knock school

Started out by breaking every rule

Maybe that’s why she’s so cool

She’s a grafter

And a crafter

She’s got swagger and poise

But she doesn’t sleep much

Too much on her mind

It keeps on twirling and swirling

Middle of the night she’s banging out pieces in bed

Her poor hubby

Sleeps with a pillow on his head

And oohh she loves a good colab

She’ll have a stab at everything

Everything is COPY when it comes to this girl

She’s ain’t shy

Too busy to get high

Anymore

There’s nothing she won’t write about

She’ll find an angle and let it all out

She’s written about her big breasts

And all her other bits

She loves shouting at the man

A scrapper for the working class

Her words cut like glass

Down and outs

Downtrodden

The underprivileged

And those without a voice

Whatever your tribe

Come on in

They’re her people

She’s funny

And talented
